Plus you'll find Snocce (our special form of bocce on the snow), snowman making competitions, kite boarding, a cinema, the spectacular night shows and so much more... At Falls Creek, great skiing and snowboarding for everyone from beginners and families through to advanced skiers and riders, and those that want to spend the day in our world renowned terrain parks, the awesome day you will have riding the slopes is just the beginning. The resort has the longest beginner run in Australia, in Wombat's Ramble, which for 2010 now has snow making right down the entire length for you to enjoy, however if you want to discover more alpine fun back in the village, then Falls Creek offers it all. | During the snow season Pete performs FREE shows in the Village Bowl on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 5.00pm. Plus he loves to be part of the fun at the FREE Falls Creek Night Show Spectaculars in the Village Bowl on Thursday evenings throughout July and August. |
| Back-Country Tours With Steve Lee |
| Australia's ultimate guided skiing tour has arrived at Falls Creek. Explore Falls Creek's amazing back-country terrain with Steve Lee... one of the legends of Australian skiing. Steve knows Falls Creek like no-one else. Follow him as he takes you skiing some of his favourite back-country spots. From the black diamond steeps and chutes of Mt McKay to the cruisier open bowls and powder stashes of Rocky Knolls and Dam Site you will experience Falls Creek like never before. Tours are tailored to intermediate and advanced abilities and with a limit of just six people per tour you will be guaranteed plenty of Steve time. |
| Night Skiing on Wombat's Ramble |
| We have turned Australia's longest green run into a night skiing and boarding playground. On Wednesday and Saturday nights you can enjoy skiing and boarding well after dark. Ride Falls Express Chairlift to Cloud 9, then from the top turn downhill for 2.2 km of illuminated excellence finishing at Quay West. High voltage floodlights, run on Green power, will light the way bringing another dimension to your skiing and boarding. With the completion of a high capacity snowmaking system along the length of Wombat's Ramble, new top-to-bottom snowmaking will ensure you can ride at night earlier in the season and later during the season. |
