RESORT ENTRY.

Snow Season

When you arrive at Falls Creek by car, you will need to expect a couple of things on arrival. One is the Resort Entry Permit which can be either for the length of your visit or a season pass, payment will be on arrival unless arranged earlier. Secondly it is good to understand the Parking and Oversnow Transport process, so please read on if you plan to drive to Falls Creek. Another thing to note is that carrying snow chains is compulsory during the snow season and can be hired at several outlets in Mt. Beauty.

Resort Entry...

During winter all visitors and residents must pay to enter the Falls Creek resort. These fees cover the resort’s ski patrol, car parking, visitor information service, snow-clearing operations, water supply and waste removal service.

During the season Resort Entry can be purchased at selected retail outlets off mountain, or at Howmans Gap Resort Entry station located four kilometres down from Falls Creek. Off mountain outlets include Kiewa Valley Ski Hire, Bogong Ski Centre, Rocky Valley Ski Hire and Ray's Ski Shop in Myrtleford.

Resort Entry Fees, 2012.

  • Vehicle Per Day $39.50
  • Vehicle Season Pass $300 (PRICE FREEZE)
  • Early Bird Vehicle Season Pass $260 (offer ends 30 April 2012)

Locals Tip...

When planning your Falls Creek holiday, where possible, avoid arriving and departing during peak times such as Friday night and Sunday afternoon. This will ensure faster transfers to and from your accommodation.

Resort Entry Ticket Office Locations

  • Falls Creek Resort Entry Ticket Box: Open 7am – 4pm Monday & Thursday, & 7am – 1am Friday – Sunday.
  • For after hours arrivals: Monday – Thursday between 4pm – 12am please purchase resort entry tickets from the Oversnow terminal located on the Bogong High Plains Road as you proceed into Falls Creek village.
  • For arrivals after 12am: Please park vehicle directly outside the Oversnow terminal and purchase your resort entry permits from the Visitor Information Centre between 8am – 8.30am the next day. Please note all vehicles will need to be moved from the Oversnow car park no later than 8.30am the following day, fines apply.
  • Please note hours may vary with conditions, it may be worth phoning Falls Creek Resort Management prior to arrival to confirm carparking and ticket box hours. Phone 03 5758 1200.
