| Australia's ultimate guided skiing tour has arrived at Falls Creek. Explore Falls Creek's amazing back-country terrain with Steve Lee... one of the legends of Australian skiing. Steve Lee is Falls Creek's most famous local (he was actually born here) and is one of only three Australian's to have won at Alpine World Cup level. He represented Australia in the 1984, 1988, and 1992 Winter Olympics, and had a professional racing career lasting 25 years. Steve knows Falls Creek like no-one else. Join him as he takes you skiing or boarding around some of his favourite back-country terrain. From the black diamond steeps and chutes of Mt McKay to the cruisier open bowls and powder stashes of Rocky Knolls and Dam Site you will experience Falls Creek like never before. Tours are a half day and are tailored from intermediate to advanced abilities, and going up is as much fun as coming down!! A custom built snowmobile and sled takes you to the top, saving your energy for those exhilarating rides down. Gather some mates and hit the slopes with Steve Lee to discover Falls Creek with our local Olympian. Back Country Tours with Steve Lee run for a half day (starting at 8.45am or 12.30pm) and are $149 per person. Please note a valid lift pass is required for the day. |
