| Driving |
| By road, Falls Creek is the closest alpine resort to Brisbane, a day's drive from Adelaide, about 8 hours from Sydney and 4 1/2 hours from Melbourne. The road to Falls Creek is safe and cleared of snow daily, snow chains are rarely fitted. Carrying snow chains, however, is compulsory and are available to hire at the base of the mountain in Mt Beauty. |
| Drive & Coach |
| Drive to Mt Beauty at the base of Falls Creek, and park your car securely at Falls Creek Coach terminal. From here Falls Creek is a 45 minute trip away in a luxury coach. |
| Train & Coach |
| Catch a regular train service to Albury and board a connecting Coach Service direct to Falls Creek. Visit vline.com.au for train timtables and information. |

| Fly & Coach/Drive |
| Fly into Albury Airport with QantasLink or Virgin Australia and board a connecting coach direct to Falls Creek. Alternatively hire with Thrifty at Albury Airport and enjoy the drive to Falls. QantasLink and Virgin Australia offer direct flights from Sydney to Albury and connecting flights from all other major centres. |

| Resort Entry |
| When you arrive at Howman’s Gap Resort Entry Gate you’re almost at Falls Creek. Here Resort Entry fees are collected contributing to car parking, snow clearing, ski patrol, day shelters and the shuttle bus. |
| Resort Parking |
| Parking Attendants greet you on arrival adjacent to the Accommodation Transfer Service. They are on duty 7am - Midnight Monday to Thursday, 7am - 2am on Fridays and 7am - 1am for Saturday and Sunday. Attendants help you park and return you to the Accomodation Transfer Terminal for transfer to your accommodation. For arrivals after hours, park your vehicle in one of the spaces in front of the Accommodation Transfer Terminal - you will need to return to your vehicle by 8:30am to avoid incurring an infringement. |
| Village Tranport |
| Accommodation Transfer Service - Transports you and your luggage up to your accommodation in the village. Open until late seven days a week. Call (03) 5758 1203 for pricing. Free Village Shuttle Bus - Operates from early morning until early evening every day offering free transport throughout the village (no luggage). |
| What to Wear |
| Dress in layers so that you can peel off if you get too hot. The outer layer should be waterproof and subsequent layers should comprise warm underclothing. Helmets are recommended and can be hired on-mountain. |
| Slip, Slop, Slap |
| The sun is strong at high altitude, even on cloudy days. Make sure you slip, slop, slap. Sunscreen and goggles or sunglasses should be worn at all times because of the high ultra-violet light and the sun’s reflection off the snow. |

| On-Mountain Services |
| Guest Services - Look for their orange jackets around the Village Bowl and at the base of Falls Express Chairlift each morning from 9:00 - 9:45am or out on the slopes. Ski Patrol - First on the slopes and last to leave, Ski Patrollers constantly monitor mountain safety for your peace of mind. Public Day Shelters - Located near the Gully car park and bottom of Falls Express - Slalom Plaza for your use to eat lunch, stay warm or take a rest. Other Services - Other amenities include a post office, medical facilities, supermarkets, internet cafés & more. |
