Morning Group Lesson
Start fresh in the morning with a lesson to elevate your skiing for the rest of the day. Our morning group lessons will see you learning alongside others of similar ability in a larger group environment. Our morning group lessons start at 10am and run for 2 and a half hours to ensure you get the most out of your lesson!*
Afternoon Max 5
Progress your skills to set you up for the rest of your holiday. The afternoon Max 5 caters for an intimate group experience, where you will learn alongside others of similar ability in a smaller group environment. Our afternoon sessions start at 1:30 pm and run for one and a half hours, giving you the afternoon to practice those skills!
*If there are fewer than 3 guests in an adult group lesson, the lesson will start at 10:00 am and run for an hour and twenty minutes.
You will need to have a valid Snow Pass card, with a lift pass and your lesson loaded onto it. You will also need to be suited up with your snow gear, helmet, skis and boots or snowboard and boots. Pre-purchase online to save yourself time and money by clicking here.
Falls Creek Snowsports School offers adult group lessons twice a day through the main season. All adult group lessons meet at the top of Halley's Comet chairlift, opposite Cloud 9.

All adult group lessons meet at the top of Halley's Comet chairlift, opposite Cloud 9 Falls Creek.
When you arrive at the top of Halley's Comet chairlift and look straight ahead down toward “Moustrap”, you will see coloured flags to the left clearly labelled "SKI" for our skiers and coloured flags to the right labelled "SNOWBOARD" for our snowboarders. All adult group lessons meet at these flags. Refer to our Grading Levels for information about the best level for you.
We recommend joining the Halley's Comet chairlift line in Slalom Plaza or Eagle Express chairlift in the Village Bowl at least 30 minutes before the lesson start time.

Yes, our lessons run in all weather! The exceptions to this are if the lifts are on a declared wind hold or lightning hold. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Our group lessons are taught in English. If you do have any special requests or would like your lesson to be taught in another language, we recommend contacting our Sales and Reservations team to enquire about booking private lessons.
Once our lessons have started, latecomers are generally unable to join in. This is because the instructor will have assessed everybody's ability level and left the meeting area to access terrain most appropriate for the group level. Once groups have left the meeting area, it can be difficult to find them again and, even if you are able to find them, latecomers can disrupt the progression of the other group members. If you are late, see a member of our friendly team to discuss your options. Our team can be found at the following locations: The Home Base, Base One, Slalom Plaza Ticket Office and the Snowsports School Office in Cloud 9, or can be contacted via phone or email.
