Is there staff accommodation available?
Falls Creek Ski Lifts provides a limited amount of shared accommodation for employees in both company owned and privately leased properties in the surrounding areas as well as on-mountain at Falls Creek.
Falls Creek Ski Lifts employees who request staff accommodation may be housed in either dorm or apartment style housing in Falls Creek or the beautiful Bogong Village (village halfway between Falls Creek and Mt Beauty).
The advantages of living in Bogong Village include the beautiful lake, with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. You can enjoy bush walking, mountain biking, fishing, and eating out at the Bogong Jacks Tavern. Plus, you can drive right to your door even in winter and won’t require a vehicle permit to access Bogong Village (you will still need a permit if you intend to drive to Falls Creek). Bogong Village is only 20 minutes from Falls Creek, and there are buses provided in winter to take you up to the resort. Alternatively, Mt Beauty (at the base of Falls Creek, about 40 minutes away) is a great option to secure accommodation privately.
The advantages of living in Falls Creek include the handy access to the slopes for work or play! Most of our staff accommodation on-mountain is in 2-4 share dorm rooms, and you will have the option to request one other employee that you would like to share with.
We will provide further information on how to request staff accommodation once you receive an offer of employment.

Resort Entry fees are charged by Falls Creek Alpine Resort Management (ARV), and you can find out more here. Successful applicants will be provided with further information on Resort Entry Permits ahead of the season.
It is a legal requirement for all vehicles, including 4WDs, entering the resort to carry correctly fitting snow chains during the designated winter season. Chains can be hired or purchased in Mt Beauty, Bright and Myrtleford. There is no overnight parking within the village during the season, and if you arrive after the season starts you may not be able to drive to your accommodation building if you are staying in the Falls Creek village. If you are bringing a car you must park it in the long term or staff carpark.
