Plan Your Trip

HANDY TIPS FOR YOUR FALLS HOLIDAY
  • Spend more time on the slopes by collecting your rental gear and lift tickets the afternoon before your first day

  • When walking through the village, stick to the sides of the road for the easiest path - the snow kats tend to churn up the snow in the path, so the middle of the roads can be more difficult to walk through!

  • Some hotels and lodges offer evening family activities, including games rooms and Kids Clubs. Head to our Accommodation page and select the 'kids entertainment' filter - your kids will be entertained both on and off the slopes!

  • Wear one pair of thin, woollen or wicking socks pulled up tight under your ski or snowboard boots. Make sure your thermals or leggings aren't tucked into your boots, as this will get uncomfortable throughout the day and may cause them to rub. Ouch!

  • Skiing and snowboarding is very tiring - make sure you pack a snack in your pocket and stop regularly to hydrate (as well as keep warm from a hot choccie or three)
