Snow Forecast Summary

Mon 20 September, 02:37PM

Very cold air is spreading across southeast Australia, which is accompanied by sufficient moisture to generate welcome snowfalls over the resorts. Showers have a wintry flavour to them down to just a few hundred metres! Conditions will dry out overnight tonight.

A combination of freezing cold nights and melting associated with the increasingly strong spring sunshine will act to harden the snowpack over the next few days.

Another snow-bearing cold front is expected on Friday, with gusty winds also on the cards once again.
