Clear skies + Gully chair opens today!

We’re waking up to mostly clear skies and another beautiful morning here at Falls Creek!

Gully Chair opens today, providing access from the carpark into the Village Bowl and bringing us to 8 lifts spinning across the resort today. With 16 freshly groomed runs laid out overnight, there’s plenty of smooth corduroy to enjoy for your morning laps.

Conditions will start firm and fast early, softening as the day progresses with temps reaching a top of 2°C. Groomed runs are the pick for the best turns. The snowmaking team fired up the guns from 7:55pm last night, taking advantage of temps dropping to -3.6°C to continue topping up cover across key areas and building a solid base for the season.

Looking ahead, the Weatherzone forecast is showing promising signs of more snow on the way next week, so stay tuned!

Winds will pick up slightly throughout the day, with northwesterly to northerly winds reaching 20-25 km/h later this afternoon. Layer up and get out early for the best conditions!
