Winter has returned to Falls Creek, with a total of 18cm of fresh snow falling across the resort these last two days. After a mixed start to the season, it’s exciting to see snow gracing our slopes once again and a return to more favorable winter conditions. It’s great to see Mother Nature delivering once again! 

We're also pleased to announce that Mouse Trap carpet is open for skiing and snowboarding today from 10am!  Our operations team has been hard at work preparing for the terrain following this latest snowfall, and we’re excited to welcome guests back on snow. Perfect for beginners and those looking to enjoy some easy turns this weekend. 

Halley’s Comet Chairlift will also be operating today for Scenic chairlift rides, providing access to Cloud 9 Restaurant, where guests can enjoy lunch, drinks and spectacular alpine views. 

With temperatures dropping, our snowmaking team has also been making the most of every available opportunity. They’ll continue to take advantage of favourable weather windows in the days ahead, helping to build and strengthen our snow base whenever conditions allow. Learn more about the investments Falls Creek has made into snowmaking over the years and our latest snowmaking initiatives.
