What a July it’s been at Falls Creek! Thanks to the incredible efforts of our mountain operations, snowmaking and grooming teams, we’re now up to 12 lifts spinning across the resort, unlocking more terrain and offering some great progression from beginner to intermediate skiing and snowboarding. 

The recent openings of Scott chairlift and Ruined Castle chairlift have expanded our intermediate terrain, giving guests the perfect opportunity to build confidence and explore more of the mountain. Whether you’re linking your first confident turns or ready to step up from beginner runs, there’s now a fantastic range of terrain to suit every ability.  

Behind the scenes, our teams have worked tirelessly throughout the school holidays to prepare and open more terrain whenever conditions have allowed. Their hard work has delivered more skiing and snowboarding opportunities for everyone. 

Terrain park riders have plenty to enjoy too, with both Drovers Terrain Park and Panorama Terrain Park now open. Drovers is the perfect place to build confidence on beginner features, while Panorama offers intermediate features for riders looking to progress. As always, take a lap through first and inspect the features before you send it.  

It’s been an action-packed few weeks on the mountain, with fireworks lighting up the Village Bowl and events including the Rossignol Cup, Cranky Charlie Cup, Adaptive Festival and Chicks Who Shred bringing the resort to life. Planning your next visit? Book early and save on lift tickets, lessons and equipment rentals, then make the most of your time off the slopes with more than 30 cafes, bars and restaurants serving everything from quick bites to hearty alpine meals.  

It’s been fantastic to see so many smiling faces enjoying the mountain over the past few weeks, and winter is far from over. With 12 lifts spinning, more terrain to explore, plenty of events still to come and something for every ability, there’s never been a better time to experience everything Falls Creek has to offer.
