What a way to kick off the 2026 winter season at Falls Creek!
Opening Weekend delivered plenty of sunshine, smiling faces and first turns, with Mouse Trap carpet open for skiing and snowboarding following last week’s snowfall and snowmaking efforts.
Guests enjoyed beginner-friendly terrain, the first lessons of the season, scenic chairlift rides on Halley’s Comet and spectacular alpine views from Cloud 9 Restaurant.
The village was buzzing with excitement all weekend, with dining venues, retail stores and après spots welcoming guests back for the season. Saturday night’s fire twirlers and fireworks lit up the Village Bowl, while visitors soaked up the vibrant Opening Weekend atmosphere across the resort.
Snowmaking crews also made the most of cold overnight temperatures on Saturday night, continuing to build our snow base and prepare more terrain for the weeks ahead.
