The feel of Spring is in the air, and that means our stacked September events calendar is just around the corner!
To kickstart the fun, we have Gay Ski Week Australia running from Friday 1st – 10th September, which is sure to bring some glitz and glam to our slopes. Think cocktail parties, cabaret, DJ and drag shows, trivia and so much more!
We're then celebrating the dads (and mums) of the mountain this Father’s Day (Sunday 3 September), with the Junior Mini Pipe Masters, sponsored by Burton! Parents and their children are encouraged to participate, as plenty of prizes are up for grabs. PLUS all parents who participate will receive a special gift for their hard work ferrying their little shredders up and down the hill throughout the season.
If you’re looking to test your speed on skis, our annual honorary Rudi Pendl Cup has been rescheduled to Thursday 7th September at Father Fosters. Due to the snow cover on Summit, this event has been moved next to Ruined Castle Chairlift and will now be held during the day. This is one giant slalom race you don’t want to miss!
The final instalment of our women’s only Mim’s Ski and Snowboard Program begins Friday 1st September, with spots still available! If you’re looking to progress your skills in a supportive environment with like-minded women, secure your spot today.
Don’t forget our Fireworks Fiesta continues every Thursday from 7pm in the Village Bowl (weather permitting). Catch the show from Frying Pan Inn or Lakeside Lodge for some of the best views in the village!
