Take fun to a new level at Falls Creek with lessons!

Updated: Thursday 20th July 2023

You’ve booked your lift tickets, accommodation is locked in and you’re starting to get excited about your winter holiday at Falls Creek. But something is missing – have you booked yourself in for a lesson

If you’re a first-timer on the snow, we’d almost say a lesson is necessary to your trip. Not because beginners ‘have’ to do a lesson, but it will make your experience at the snow a much more enjoyable one, plus you’ll leave feeling more confident and capable riding skis or a board!

Been to the snow a few times and feel like you’ve got it all sorted? While that may be the case, having a lesson to refresh your memory and learn new skills is always a great idea as an intermediate rider. Plus, if you’ve picked up on any bad habits or techniques, this is the time to get them ironed out before you progress to more challenging terrain.

Advanced riders don’t be fooled. You may think you don’t need lessons, but here’s where you’re wrong. Private Lessons and Advanced Group Lessons are a great way to boost your already top-notch skills, and maybe learn a few tricks and tips along the way. You know what they say, you should never stop learning!

Here at Falls Creek, we believe in the importance of having lessons at every stage of your riding ability, not just when you’re a beginner. That’s why we’ve developed a series of lesson offerings to suit every skill level, age and need.

For our little shredders, Snowclub and Junior Workshop are our lessons on offer, designed to teach the next generation of skiers and boarders the necessary skills to be a confident rider!

Want to learn to ski or board in a fun environment with other likeminded individuals? Our Adult Group Lessons are for you! Available in yellow, green, blue and black skill levels, group lessons are a fun way to learn, or progress your skills, in either skiing or boarding.

For those who want a more personalised learning experience, Private Lessons are your go to! Available for individuals, couples and groups of up to six participants, private lessons are designed to have a more tailored approach to your skillset.

For women looking to develop their skills in a supportive and welcoming environment, we have created Mim’s Women’s Ski and Snowboard Program. Designed by women, for women, in honor of the instructor and women’s skiing mentor Mim Sodergren. Participants can choose a 3-day or 5-day course where they develop confidence and skills on a variety of terrain while building connections with other like-minded participants.  Who wouldn’t want to shred the slopes with their gals?!

If the park is where your heart is, or where you want to test your skills, book into our Park Sessions held on selected Thursdays throughout winter! Learn from knowledgeable instructors how to safely shred, jump and flip your way around our terrain parks.

There truly is a lesson for every skill level and need at Falls Creek. Book your spot today!
