The snowstorm continues! We’ve seen 10cm of fresh snow land across the mountain last night, bringing our snowstorm total to 64cm, and it’s still snowing today!! Winter has well and truly arrived.
Due to the massive snowstorm and the hard work of our mountain operations team, the 2025 snow season is officially underway. It was a great first day of skiing and boarding on Wombat’s Ramble and Mouse Trap yesterday, and today we have Towers chairlift open for the season!
And this is just the beginning. We've been laying a strong foundation with our new Techno Alpin snow guns, and with consistent snowmaking and more snow in the forecast, we’re preparing to open more terrain as soon as possible!
A huge shout-out to the team who’ve been working through the night in the snowstorm to get everything ready to ride.
Keep an eye on our social media channels or sign up to our emails to be the first to know when new terrain opens. To stay up to date with the latest lift opening times, check our Lifts and Terrain page or the Falls Creek app.
Private lessons are available now for the season. Whether you're a first-timer or looking to refine your technique, our expert instructors will help you gain confidence on the slopes! Book your lessons online in advance for the best deal, or for last minute enquiries, visit the team at Falls Creek Sports or our Snowsports School.
Plus, scenic chairlift rides on Halley’s Comet are still on offer between 11am to 3pm daily, so you can check out the newly renovated Cloud 9 Restaurant!
