It has been a fantastic start to winter at Falls Creek, with a massive snowstorm bringing 71cm of fresh snow on opening weekend. One of the best season starts we’ve seen in years and the biggest snowstorm over the June long weekend in a long time!
Thanks to the combination of this major snow event, the incredible work of our snowmaking team and the power of our new Techno Alpin snow guns, plus the tireless efforts of our mountain operations crew, we’re thrilled to announce that both Drovers Dream and Eagle Express chairlifts are now open. This means excellent beginner terrain is ready to enjoy on Drovers Dream, and guests can now access the slopes directly from the Village Bowl.
Starting today, Gully chairlift is also spinning, offering convenient access to the Village Bowl straight from the car park. As well as Boardwalk carpet in our beginner zone.

This is just the beginning! With consistent snowmaking and more snow in the Weatherzone forecast, we’re preparing to open even more terrain soon! Stay tuned for further updates next week on our social media channels or sign up to our emails.
Opening Special: Beginner Bundle! This weekend, we're offering beginner packages for all age groups (3+), available Saturday and Sunday. Both adult and children bundles include lift ticket and lesson.
Falls Creek Sports in the Village Bowl will also open from today with our new equipment valet service! Rent your gear from any Falls Creek Sports outlet and we will valet your equipment from our Village Bowl store for free.
Plus, Scenic chairlift rides on Halley’s Comet are still on offer between 9:30am to 3pm daily until June 20, so you can check out the newly renovated Cloud 9 Restaurant.
