With last week's spring snowstorm dumping 25cm of fresh snow, our resort is once again coated in white as we head into the last few weeks of the season. From exciting Oakley Freestyle events to a village party and school holidays kicking off on September 18th – there's so much going on at Falls Creek in spring!
This weekend coming is all about throwing it down on the slopes, with our final two installments of the Oakley Freestyle events happening on Saturday and Sunday. The competition kicks off on Saturday 16 September with our Bandwagon Banked Slalom, designed for those who love a bumpy ride and are keen to dress up in their best Western kit!
The sick tricks don’t stop there though, The Dreamer, hosted in Panorama Park on Sunday 17 September, will give participants the opportunity to jam it out across the park in a competition format, vying off for the top spot and plenty of great Oakley prizes!
If the park events are a little too extreme for you, we have something just as fun for those who love to eat and drink the afternoon away, with our very own Oktoberfest on Saturday 16th in the Village Bowl! Pack your Lederhosen and Dirndl’s and get ready to taste some of the best brews in the region alongside bratwurst and pork rolls. It’s looking like it’ll be a sunny one too, so we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate German style!
As we edge closer to the second half of September, we’re getting ready to welcome you all back for School Holidays from Monday 18th! Alongside our awesome spring-skiing, Fireworks Fiesta is still planned for Thursday evenings, as well as Twilight Tuesdays in the Village Bowl.
