The snow started falling on Monday, delivering 9cm across Falls Creek this week and giving the mountain a welcome winter refresh. The village is dressed in white once again, and winter isn’t done yet!

The Weatherzone forecast is showing loads more snow on the way, with up to 60cm forecast to arrive from Sunday through to Wednesday. It’s shaping up to be a snowy August at Falls Creek!

With 12 lifts spinning and a great range of beginner and intermediate terrain currently open, there’s plenty of the mountain to explore. Make the most of the fresh snow, find your favourite runs and enjoy some great winter turns.

Falls Creek Freeride Junior 2*

Coming up this weekend, the Falls Creek Freeride Junior 2* hits the mountain on Saturday 8 August.

Witness the courage, creativity and skill of the next generation of skiers and snowboarders as they take on the mountain and put their freeride skills to the test.
